I read only the most famous (Sonnets from the Portuguese) and I have to say she is really great because she is in love but proud and not submissive which was not so granted for that times, because "the victorian woman" was submissive.
Ho letto solo le poesie piú famose (quelle tratte da "Sonnets from the Portuguese) e devo dire che lei é davvero brava a far vedere come si possa essere innamorate, ma non sottomesse, che per i tempi era decisamente poco scontato, in quanto la donna vittoriana era, di default, sottomessa.
